VALE approves Firebee system for Industrial Areas: a safety and certification milestone
Vale, one of the largest mining companies in the world, approved the Firebee system for its industrial areas after a rigorous certification process lasting 8 to 10 months.
Certification process opens up new opportunities in the industrial sector
Vale, one of the largest mining companies in the world, approved the approval of the Firebee system for its industrial areas, a fundamental step to ensure greater safety and compliance in operations. This process was the result of detailed work that lasted between 8 and 10 months, involving multiple meetings, rigorous tests and validation by various technical areas of the company. This was only possible after achieving ULBR certification.
Before ULBR certification, Firebee already had mining clients in its portfolio, but faced barriers to entering Vale’s industrial environments due to strict security requirements. With the certification, it was possible to establish an approval process that involved the technical, security, IT and even Vale’s insurance areas.
The Firebee system underwent a careful analysis and was accepted as safe equipment to operate within the mining company’s industrial areas. In addition to paving the way for future activities within Vale, this achievement reinforces the importance of certification in the industry, demonstrating the relevance of approved equipment in aggressive environments.
With this achievement, Firebee gains more credibility in the market, allowing the company to expand its operations into other industrial areas.
